I remember that trip.  We were so young and stupid.  Give me a minute and I will try to think of who else drove down.  I am heading to Port Aransas next week.  I don't go that often but enjoy it when I do.
Take care Jimbo,
JB

Spent a few days down in Port Aransas last week with the family.  Had a fun time.  It really brings back memories.  We may get a beach house for the month of July if anyone is in the area.  I'll update when we decide.

Didn't Michael Murphy drive another car?  White Ford I think Grand Torino or something like that?

Michael Murphey sang the song 'Wildfire'.

There was a guy named Murphy on our football team, but
I can't seem to remember his first name - Michael actually sounds right...

Mike Murphy, Doug Jividen, and Frededie Bingheim all hung out together.  As I recall, Mike and Doug joined the Air Force together.  Funny, I thought about those guys yesterday while talking to the Air Force recruiter with my daughter.  Mike and Doug did the delayed enlistment and invited us to several pizza parties put on by their recruiter.  Grin

Good memories!  I hope Mike and Doug pipe up and join the bulletin board!   Wink

The last contact info I have for Doug and Kyle Jividen has them in S.A and Mike Murphy in Carrollton.

That's where I last heard they were.  Kyle and Doug were working near Rolling Oaks Mall but I haven't heard from them in a couple years.  Mike was in Dallas area as well, but I haven't spoken to him in a few years.  Sherman McKinzey is in Ft. Worth area.  Spoke to him several years ago.  I wish these guys would join the fun along with many others.
